Paper-plastic composite bags, also known as three-in-one composite paper bags, are a type of small bulk container. They are constructed from plastic and kraft paper. Primarily used for unitized handling by manual labor or forklifts, they facilitate the efficient transport of small-volume powdered and granular materials. These bags offer high strength, excellent water resistance, an attractive appearance, and convenient loading and unloading.
Paper-plastic composite bag Also known as a three-in-one composite paper bag, it is a type of small bulk container. The paper–plastic composite bag is made of plastic and kraft paper. It is primarily used for unitized handling by manual labor or forklifts, making the transport of small-volume powdered and granular materials both easy and efficient. Such bags feature high strength, excellent water resistance, an attractive appearance, and convenient loading and unloading. Depending on the manufacturing method, products can be classified as side-seamed paper–plastic composite bags or center-seamed paper–plastic composite bags; the main difference lies in the location of the seam. As the name suggests, a center-seamed paper–plastic composite bag has its seam running down the middle. This type of bag is produced by laminating a composite fabric—typically a woven fabric combined with kraft paper—and then applying coating and pressing through a central sewing machine. Center-seamed bags have a more aesthetically pleasing appearance, but they generate more material waste at the center seam compared with side seams, require more expensive equipment, and occupy a larger footprint; consequently, their unit price is slightly higher than that of side-seamed bags. Nevertheless, the overall appearance is very attractive, and workers are less likely to cut their hands during loading or handling. The following section outlines key considerations in the production process of paper–plastic composite bags:

1. Layout design based on the source file (or provide a sample bag; we will submit the designed sample bag to the client for approval).
2. After layout confirmation, the deposit shall be paid to initiate production.
3. Paper-plastic composite bag The production process is relatively complex: first, sheet material must be manufactured; next, it is printed on a printing machine and then laminated twice in a laminating press; after that, the laminated sheets are placed in a drying oven for 48 hours; finally, they are cut on a slitting machine. Following cutting, the sheets are fed into a bag-making machine to form bags, after which they undergo quality inspection before being packaged. Each step of the process is labor-intensive and time-consuming.
4. The color original provided by the printing press will be made available prior to printing. If the colors cannot be viewed on site, adjustments will be made based on the color original.
5. Wet Lamination: Wet lamination, also known as wet-layup lamination, is a process in which the surface of one substrate layer—such as a plastic film or aluminum foil—is coated with a water-soluble or water-emulsion adhesive. While still moist, the coated layer is fed through laminating equipment and brought into contact with a second substrate layer—such as paper or cellophane—and then passed through a thermal drying section to evaporate the solvent, thereby bonding the two layers together.
6. Coating Method: This method involves applying a fluid coating to the surface of the film to establish intimate contact between the film surface and the skin layer. It can enhance the film’s thermal adhesion, moisture resistance, gas barrier properties, ultraviolet absorption, and antistatic performance.
Currently, Paper-plastic composite bag It offers both environmental benefits and practical value in use. For example, it is a composite bag designed for food storage that provides effective preservation: the paper component has a certain degree of permeability, allowing it to release ethylene gas, which helps extend shelf life and maintain quality. At the same time, the paper–plastic composite bag exhibits excellent moisture-absorbing properties, making it an ideal choice for storing dry goods and preserving the natural flavor and freshness of food. With its high standards of hygiene and safety and its ability to keep food uncontaminated, consumers can be assured of its reliability. Today, paper–plastic composite bags feature low entry barriers, minimal capital investment, strong profitability potential, robust market demand, and ample opportunities for entrepreneurs.
